Unfortunately, some providers use certain mechanisms to prevent the use of EuropeanMX. The following providers are therefore not or only partially supported:
1&1The provider stops the mail traffic to the own mail servers if external MX entries are used in the DNS settings. EuropeanMX can only be used in conjunction with 1&1 if you run your own mail server.
united-DomainsThe provider stops the mail traffic to the own mail servers if external MX entries are used in the DNS settings. EuropeanMX can only be used in conjunction with united-Domains if you run your own mail server.
hostpoint.chThe provider stops the mail traffic to the own mail servers if external MX entries are used in the DNS settings. EuropeanMX can only be used in conjunction with united-Domains if you run your own mail server.
DomainfactoryThe provider stops the mail traffic to the own mail servers, if their mail server cannot recognize any of the own MX entries (https://www.df.eu/de/support/df-faq/domains/externe-domains/#c7194) when a message is received. To use EuropeanMX in conjunction with Domainfactory, please use the entry "mxlbpu. ispgateway. de" in addition to our MX entries.
inode. at / UPCBefore you change the MX entries, you must contact inode. at/UPC to obtain further acceptance of incoming messages. Without making contact, the provider blocks the mail traffic to his mail servers, if external MX entries are used in the DNS settings.
fasthosts. co. ukThe provider stops the mail traffic to the own mail servers, if external MX entries are used in the DNS settings. If you want to use EuropeanMX for your domain, we recommend you to use another provider.
Provider with cPanelIf you change the MX entries for a domain using cPanel, please make sure that the "Local Mail Exchanger" is always enabled. If this is not the case, cPanel no longer accepts messages.
