I have problems with DNS resolution of my domains. How can I fix the problem?

If you have problems with DNS resolution of your domain and you use our AnycastDNS service EuropeanNS, then you can take the following steps to fix the problem:

1
Checking the DNS zone

In the first step, check whether the DNS records in the domain's zone are entered correctly. For example, the A record should point to the correct IP address of the server.

2
 Checking the server

If the DNS zone is set up correctly, then next check if the server where the problems occur is also configured correctly so that incoming traffic can be accepted and processed.

3
Checking the domain settings

In the next step, you can still perform a WHOIS query for the domain with which the problem occurs. As a result of the query you should see all three nameservers of Eunetic (ns.europeandns.de, ns.europeandns.eu, ns.europeandns.net).

If one of the three is missing or there are additional nameservers from third party providers, you have to update the domain settings at your provider. Only our 3 nameservers may be listed in the WHOIS query.

If you have checked all the points and you still experience problems, please contact our support for further investigation.
