How can I reactivate my expired LEI number?

In order to keep an LEI number in the "Active" status, an annual renewal must take place. If no renewal takes place, then the LEI number is changed to "Lapsed" status in the GLEIS (Global Legal Entity Identifier System). This can mean that financial transactions will no longer be carried out by a bank or financial institution, or the company will be fined for non-compliance.

But don't worry: We will be happy to support you in reactivating your LEI number as quickly as possible and bringing it to "Active" status. With the following instructions you can reactivate your LEI number:

1

First, log in to your account on our website with your access data.

2

In the next step, click on the plus sign (+) at "LEI Codes" and select the option "EuropeanLEI Renewal / Transfer".

3

Now enter your LEI number that you want to reactivate in the field "Existing LEI code".

4

Check whether the automatically entered data is still correct and complete. If you discover an error, please correct it at this point.

Confirm that you have read and accept the additional agreement below.

If all data are entered correctly and the confirmation is done, please click on "Checkout" to complete the order process.

5

If proof or additional information is needed, we will contact you on your email address on file in your account.
