Why trial certificates are also validated

I only want a trial certificate, why does this type also have to be validated?

The trial certificates are fully functional SSL certificates with the same encryption and browser compatibility as our other certificates.
Only the term is limited to 30 days. For this reason, a validation must also be carried out for the use of the trial certificates.
