How can I restore a DNS zone?

From time to time it is necessary to make changes to a DNS zone. If you make a mistake and an entry is set incorrectly, it can quickly happen that certain services (such as a website) no longer work. So that you don't have to remember the individual changes, we have built in a modification history that allows you to track the changes you have made and, if necessary, revert to an older version with a single click.

To access the modification history and restore a specific status, proceed as follows:

1

Log in to your customer account on our website.

2

Click on "My Purchases" and then on "DNS zones".

3

Now click on the domain name whose DNS zone is to be restored.

4

Now scroll to the bottom of the page until the modification history is displayed.

5

You can switch to the desired DNS zone by clicking on "Restore".

If you are unsure which is the correct zone, you can simply click on the link for the desired date and call up a preview.
