Do I need my own IP address?

In order for a website to be accessed via a browser, an IP address must be specified in the DNS settings of your domain. You receive this from the provider who provides you with the server. In order to secure your website with an SSL certificate, it is therefore necessary that you or your server has/have its own IP address. SSL certificates are not bound to a specific IP address. So it is possible to use the certificate on different servers. For such a case our EuropeanSSL Wildcard certificates are suitable, with which you can secure different subdomains of your website.
