How can I switch to EuropeanNS if I am already using another DNS provider?

EuropeanNS offers a reliable infrastructure, data protection and high availability of its DNS services. If you are already using another DNS provider and would like to switch to EuropeanNS, follow the steps below to ensure a smooth transition:

1

Log in to your customer account on our website. If you do not yet have an account, you can register as a new customer on the same page below.

If you do not yet have a trial or paid plan, you can book a free, no-obligation 30-day trial here.

2

Before you change the name servers for your domain, you must first create the DNS entries for your domain in our Anycast network to ensure a seamless transition. To do this, make a note of the current DNS settings with your previous provider.

3

Once you have noted all DNS entries, click on "My purchases" in your Eunetic account and then on "DNS zones".

4

Now click on the domain name for which you would like to use our name servers.

5

Enter the previously noted DNS settings that you used with your previous provider.

To add a new line, please click on the plus sign (+).

6

As soon as you have transferred all DNS entries from your previous provider, please click on "Save" to apply the settings.

7

Finally, you need to adjust the name servers of your domain so that our Anycast network acts as a name server in future. Please change the name servers as follows:

  • ns.europeandns.de
  • ns.europeandns.eu
  • ns.europeandns.net

As soon as our system has recognized our name servers, the red message in the DNS zone will disappear.
