Since the use of an SSL certificate has become a standard for websites, the most common browsers only show when a website does not use encryption. As a result, the address bar is no longer displayed in green even when using an EV certificate.
Starting with Firefox version 70.0, the green address bar and company name are no longer displayed when visiting a website. Instead, only the grey lock is displayed, which you can use to call up the certificate information.
If you would like to have at least the name contained in the certificate displayed by default again, you can change this manually via "about:config". To do this, change the value "security.identityblock.show_extended_validation" to "true".
Unfortunately this option is not available for Chrome.
