For the issuance of the certificate only the validation of your domain is necessary. This can be done via 3 different methods:

• Validation by e-mail

  In this case, an e-mail is sent to one of the following prefixes, in which a link is provided to confirm the validation. The following prefixes can be used:
  • admin@
  • administrator@
  • hostmaster@
  • postmaster@
  • webmaster@
• Validation via DNS

  With this method, a specific CNAME record must be stored in the DNS settings of the domain, which will then be used to validate your domain. You will receive this from us by e-mail.
• Validation by file

  ---

  For this method, a file must be placed on your web space and be callable in the browser. You will receive the path as well as the file from us by e-mail after your order.
