As one of the leading mail order companies of high quality specialties from handpicked producers all over Italy, first class customer service is our top priority. This also includes technically smooth communication with customers and service providers.
Due to a complex mailbox and e-mail structure, Gustini GmbH relies on a self-hosted e-mail system (Exchange) and the associated infrastructure. Due to a configuration error in autumn 2020 our external IP address was placed on the spam list by well-known mail hosts (WEB.DE/GMX). This meant that our communication with numerous customers was no longer possible and the quality of our service was significantly restricted.
A short-term and quick solution was needed - the search engine quickly referred us to the EuropeanMX and an initiative phone call with a technician enabled us to start a free test phase directly - the implementation took place within 30 minutes.
We had solved our problem and put our outgoing e-mail traffic on redundant and secure feet. For us as a company, it is a real added value to be able to delegate the responsibility for the availability of outgoing e-mail communication to a professional service provider.
Services
We use the EuropeanMX product (as of 02/2021) exclusively for outgoing email traffic. In practical terms, this means that all outgoing e-mails from our office are routed through the EuopeanMX e-mail server. To do this, we have adjusted the smarthost configuration on our firewall, which has an integrated SMTP proxy, and adjusted the DNS settings for (DMARC / DKIM / SPF) the sender domains.
Not only our 20 or so users in the office benefit from the outgoing e-mail traffic that is now hosted - the outgoing e-mail communication (invoice dispatch, dispatch confirmation, delivery notifications, order confirmations, ...) ensures the smooth dispatch of up to 3500 Emails to many hundreds of customers every day.
The user interface for administration is largely intended for incoming e-mail filtering and only a small part for outgoing e-mail communication. The setting options are very complex and, to begin with, best to implement with unbureaucratic support.
The mail filters release almost all of our e-mails for dispatch. In exceptional cases, e-mails are filtered out based on their content (criminal complaint correspondence with police stations) and placed in quarantine. In this case, the sender receives a notification in our company and after forwarding the same to the EuropeanMX support, experience shows that a response will be made within 15 minutes, the mail filters trained and the e-mail approved for dispatch by Eunetic support.
Conclusion:
We can certify that the EuropeanMX has a very uncomplicated and fast-reacting support, which works in a very solution-oriented manner in the event of delivery problems and gives us as customers the security that our e-mails reliably reach their destination.
