Before we start with the formatting and setup of your SSL certificate, you need to make sure you have the following information available:
Please note that EuropeanSEC currently only supports a key length of up to 2048 bits!
If you do not yet have a certificate for your website, you can order one in our shop and then download it. If you are unsure which one you need, just contact us. We are happy to help you!
Go to our website and enter your email address and password under "Login" that you used to register with us.
After you have logged in, you will find a yellow list icon in the dashboard next to the item Website Security Packages. With a click on it, you will find all domains that are secured with EuropeanSEC.
Now click on the name of your domain to access the settings.
Switch to the Settings > Firewall Settings tab and scroll to the Upload custom certificate section at the end of the page.
Now open the file that contains your SSL/TLS certificate and copy the entire content of the file (including all dashes at the beginning and end!). Then paste the copied content into the CRT (PEM) field.
Now open the file that contains the root and intermediate certificates and copy the entire content of the file (including all dashes at the beginning and end!). Then paste the copied content into the CA(PEM) field.
Now open the file that contains the corresponding PrivateKey for your certificate and copy the entire content of the file (including all dashes at the beginning and end!). Now paste the copied content into the Private Key (max 2048bit) field.
Click Upload to start uploading the certificates to our firewall. Once the upload is complete, it may take some time for the installation to finish successfully.
