The Importance of Digital Accessibility: Meeting the Requirements of the Accessibility Strengthening Act

The Accessibility Strengthening Act – What You Need to Know

On June 28, 2025, Germany’s Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) takes full effect. This law requires companies to make their digital products and services accessible to all people, including those with disabilities.

At eunetic, we take this responsibility seriously and have thoroughly prepared our website to comply with the new requirements while going beyond them wherever possible.

What We Have Improved

Over the past weeks, we implemented multiple changes to make using our website easier and more inclusive:

  • Improved Navigation: Clearer menus, logical structure, and better keyboard accessibility.
  • Enhanced Readability: Updated contrast levels and adaptable font sizes to improve legibility.
  • Accessibility Plugin: A new tool helps visitors with visual impairments adjust contrast, zoom in, or have content read aloud.
  • Alternative Texts: All images and interactive elements now include descriptive alt texts to ensure compatibility with screen readers.

These measures help us meet BFSG compliance while offering a truly barrier-free experience to our audience.

Inclusion Is Part of Our Mindset

We firmly believe that accessibility is not an optional extra – it is a sign of respect. Digital inclusion empowers people with disabilities to participate equally in society.

This is why we are committed to continuously improving our digital services, ensuring everyone can use them comfortably and independently.
